Sign up for Teen Camp (or Text Messages from Jesus) at Camp Shiloh now!

The South Central District of the Wisconsin Synod (Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, some of Louisiana) is blessed to have its own campground and retreat — Camp Shiloh Lutheran Retreat.

Every year a number of camps, retreats, conferences, meetings, and events are hosted at the camp.  The highlight of the year is the Teen Camp — check out the Promo Video for Camp Shiloh Teen Camp here.

There are a number of other camps for kids and adults throughout the year.

This year, Pastor Tomczak will also be the instructor for one of Shiloh’s camps — Text Messages from Jesus — a camp for 7th and 8th grade students, their parents, and any other interested adults (confirmed and up) that will, in four days, do a brief overview of the Bible using the Small and Large Catechism’s of Dr. Martin Luther.

The purpose of the camp is to be a

  • confirmation mini-camp for students
  • an aid to instruction for parents
  • a review of Lutheran doctrine for anybody and everybody

This camp runs from August 8-11, 2011.  The cost is $125 until May 1 and $150 after — which includes food, lodging, and a copy of the Book of Concord.
