New Bible Studies Starting Soon

Two new Bible studies will be underway soon at St. Mark.

  • On Wednesday mornings (9:30am), we’ll begin a study of the Epitome (the short version) of the Formula of Concord.  This study will begin on June 16.  Each week we will cover one article.  Students are expected to read the article ahead of time and study guides will be provided.  We will be using Concordia: The Lutheran Confessions, a Reader’s Edition.
  • Our Wednesday morning class will take a summer break from July 7-August 11.
  • On Sunday mornings, through the end of June we’ll continue our study of the Names of God.   This might roll over into July.  If it does not, we will undertake a study of the book of Habakkuk.  If it does, we’ll take our summer break (August 1-September 5), and return in September for a study of the Doctrine of Election, based on a discussion of Article XI of the Formula of Concord (Thorough Declaration).
