GOD 101 — Another Open Invitation

Beginning this Saturday, April 25, a new round of GOD 101 will begin at St. Mark.  GOD 101 is a 15-lesson course that works through the basic teachings of the Bible.  Each 2-hour lesson dives deeply into God’s Word and your questions.

The Curriculum:

  • Who is God?
  • Can I be sure of going to heaven?
  • The Bible
  • Jesus Christ
  • Faith
  • Baptism
  • The Lord’s Supper
  • Church and Churches
  • Judgment Day
  • The First and Second Commandments
  • The Third Commandment
  • The Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Commandments
  • The Seventh, Eighth, Ninth, and Tenth Commandments
  • The Christian’s Response to God — Prayer and Bible Study
  • For Member’s Only — A final lesson for those interested in joining St. Mark

The Ideal Student:

  • Someone interested in knowing more about Jesus and the Bible
  • Someone looking for a church home
  • Someone looking to review what they learned in catechism
  • Someone with a friend in any of those categories
  • Someone looking to get out of chores on Saturday morning
  • Someone age 14 or older
  • Basically…anyone!

The class is FREE OF CHARGE with no strings attached.  Come for the first lesson, stay for the rest!

We will meet in the Education Building at St. Mark beginning at 9:30 am.
